Imagining the colorways that get me most excited to ride.

Cycling apparel has roots in neons and more recently has centered on earth tones and neutrals w/ a monotone focus. I’m looking for a transitional color space that brings color saturation back to cycling, but with an easier blend and more versatile color combinations than the legacy neons.

This palette pulls from San Francisco natural and built environment; Golden Gate and Marin headlands. While other popular color ways take earth tones and mute them, I want to see earth tones intensified. SF is the cycling hub of the country, and with regional branding trending across apparel, an SF colorway fits right into the city’s niche.

Input: Given bridesmaid dress color (burgundy) as the anchor w/ venue photos and a request for “elegant + whimsical”

Output: groom’s suit color, signage and invite accent colors, and inspiration board to give the florist.
